In your office or home you have to block some websites. Using this steps, you can block any website without any softwares...
Open: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
Find the file named as "hosts"
Open it in notepad
Under "127.0.0.1 localhost" Add 127.0.0.2 www.sitenameyouwantblock.com (without # symbol) , and that site will no longer be accessible.
File -> Save .
For every site after that you want to add, just add "1" to the last number in the internal ip (127.0.0.2) and then the addy like before.
Examples:
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.2 www.google.com
127.0.0.3 www.yahoo.com
127.0.0.4 www.ask.com
-Now these sites are blocked from your computer.

Google Plus One (+1) Launched for Websites
Google Plus One has now been released for websites. Webmasters can now easily add +1 on their websites.
If you’re not already aware of Google Plus One, it is basically implemented by Google to bring in social features and influence to search results. +1 for websites will allow readers to flag up interesting content which are than promoted in the future search results of their Google contacts.
+1 is Google’s answer to the “Facebook Like” button. In one way both +1 and Facebook Like button are alike as the buttons lets you recommend web pages easily to your friends as well as everyone in this world.
+1 will also be now showing up at YouTube, the Android Market, Blogger and in Product Search. You’re obviously required to be signed into your Google account and have some linked friends to see their recommendations. Plus One is still an experimental feature, so you’ll need to enroll first, if you haven’t yet.
When +1 launched back in March end, we covered about what it is, how it works and explained to you its advantages through this article.
The button can easily be implemented on any website by simply visiting the +1 webmasters page. Webmasters can add +1 buttons to their site by adding a small snippet of JavaScript to every page where they like the +1 button to appear.
If you cannot find +1 button on your favorite site but still wants to +1 it, help is at hand. One of India’s most prominent and reputed blogger, Amit Agarwal on his blog, Digital Inspiration, has shown how to use Plus One bookmarklet to +1 those sites.
Since January 2010, the search giant have been using public data from social services, such as Twitter and Flickr, as signals in organic search rankings. Now through the use of +1′s, the search giant has signaled more social influence in organic search results.

Google Previews Gmail’s New Look | New Theme
As promised, Google is continuing is design revamping of its major products like search and Gmail. In a Gmail blogpost, Google previewed Gmail’s new design with two new themes, Preview and (Preview Dense). The new themes are available in its theme library. Both the new Gmail themes are less dense with lots of white space than the current Gmail design. In addition to removing the clutter and adding more white space, Google has moved the Gmail ads to bottom of Gmail page.
Giving Gmail users a sneak peek of the new designs, Google said Gmail’s interface has become more cluttered and complex over the years as Google kept adding new features. The goal of new Gmail design is part of Google’s interface updates to remove the unnecessary clutter, make it beautiful and at the same time more powerful. Google also added that

Google said the deign changes will happen gradually over the next few months after considering the feedback from users. The Manorama Online site is using dynamic fonts and hence, it is not necessary to download the fonts for specific browsers.
Browsers that support Manorama Online site with dynamic fonts are Internet Explorer 5.5 or above for Windows and Netscape 4.x (Windows, Macintosh, Unix).
Note that Internet Explorer for Macintosh and Netscape 6 and 7 for any operating system do not currently support dynamic fonts.

2. I am not able to print the Manorama Online site. Why?
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 for Windows does not fully support dynamic fonts for printing. When you try to print or print preview pages using Web fonts from Internet Explorer 5.5 for Windows, you do not get the dynamic font in the print preview or on printout. It appears that Internet Explorer dynamically rebuilds the page on the fly, stripping out the Web font tags. This prevents the dynamic fonts from printing.
To print dynamic fonts in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 for Windows, click the print icon on the toolbar. Do not choose File > Print.
3. Why is the site appearing with junk characters?
a)Check your browser version. Make sure you are using Internet Explorer 5.5 and above (Windows) or Netscape 4.x (Windows, Macintosh, Unix) to view dynamic fonts. For all other browser and operating system, please download the font by clicking on the below links and copy to your fonts directory (For Windows, got to Start -> Control Panel -> Fonts)
b)Change the document encoding settings to 'User Defined' and reload the site.
On Internet Explorer 5.5 or above, right click the mouse button, choose Encoding and then choose User Defined from the list.

c)However, some users may have problems with the font due to some configuration issues or due to poor connectivity. Sometimes just pressing 'refresh' works.
If the problem persists, follow the below steps.
Step 1. Remove any fonts ('Mano.ttf') that you may have previously downloaded. Go To Start - Control Panel - Fonts - Remove fonts.

Manually download the Manorama.ttf font by clicking on the below link.Copy the font to your Fonts directory (usually /usr/share/fonts). You need to login as the root user to perform this operation.
Rebootthe system.
If you do not have the root permission, please do the following steps.
Copy the Manorama.ttf font to a directory.
Change to that direcroty and run the following commands.
Run ttmkfdir > fonts.dir
Run ttmkfdir > fonts.scale
/usr/X11R6/bin/xset fp+
/usr/X11R6/bin/xset fp rehash
Open the browser and change the character encoding to “User Defined”
